Someone in your corner who asks the hard question.
The course gives you the practices. Coaching is for the part after that: doing them on a Tuesday night when you are tired and the phone is buzzing. Short calls, a clear plan, and someone who notices when you drift.
Twelve weeks, one practice at a time, with a call every week.
The Intensive is Carry It Well walked through with me. Each week you get a 45 minute call, one lesson and one practice to use at home and at work, and a short check in every Friday that I read before our next call. Pay in full, or in three monthly payments of $900($2,700 total).
It includes the course and the printed course book, and three months of the Waking Up meditation app as a gift from me for the quiet minutes in week seven. If your wife wants in, she joins one or two of the calls, and the two of you get the couples course too.
Included: the Carry It Well course book and every sheet. We work from these each week.
01Start
Intake and The Solo
A sixty minute first call: where things stand at home, at work, and in you. Three goals for ninety days. That week you take half a day alone with a notebook.
02See it
The Honest Map
Score seven areas of your life, circle the one you avoid, and make one move on it with a day and a time.
03See it
The Drift
Seven nights of logging what you reach for and what you felt right before. Then a 9 PM plan set up in advance.
04See it
Short Fuse
Your three warning signs, a sixty second reset, and a repair every time you miss. Month one review on the call.
05Carry it
Choose Your Battles
Everything you carry in three columns: mine to fight, mine to hand off, not mine at all. Then one hard conversation.
06Carry it
Enough
Enough money, enough hours, enough yes, written down. One hard edge for thirty days, told to the people it affects.
07Carry it
Fuel
Sleep, a simple training week, ten quiet minutes a day with the Waking Up course, heat if you have a sauna, and one hard thing on the calendar.
08Carry it
Leading at work
Take one practice into the business: the conversation you have avoided with a team member, a client, or a partner. Midpoint review.
09Build it
Your Council
Name two or three men, invite one specifically, and put the second time on the calendar before the first one happens.
10Build it
The Inheritance
The playbook you got from your father, marked keep, change or stop, and one new version practiced out loud.
11Build it
What You Pass On
Your creed on one page, a challenge with each kid, and one real skill taught this month.
12Finish
Keep the two
Review the ninety days, choose two practices to keep, and decide what comes next.
Ongoing Coaching · $500 a month
After the twelve weeks, keep going.
For men who finished the Intensive and want someone holding the plan with them. Whatever is real that month: a business decision, a hard conversation at home, a son pulling away, an old habit drifting back.
Every month
The rhythm
Call one, week one. What is coming this month and the one thing that matters most. 30 minutes.
Friday check ins. Three questions on a short form, every week.
Call two, week three. What happened, what got in the way, the next move.
Weekday access. A text or voice memo for a quick question or a win. I reply within one business day.
Once a quarter. One call becomes a sixty minute planning call that resets your goals at home, at work, and for yourself.
Six month first agreement, then month to month with thirty days’ notice. Pay for the year and it is $5,400 instead of $6,000.
A good fit
This is for you if
You lead something: a family, a team, a company, or all three.
You know what you want to change and keep losing it by Wednesday.
You want someone straight with you, on your side, who asks whether you did the thing.
You are willing to do the work between calls.
When coaching is the wrong tool
I will point you elsewhere if
Depression, anxiety, or panic that is affecting daily life
Thoughts of suicide or self harm. Call or text 988 any time.
Drinking, drugs, or another addiction driving the problems
Abuse at home, by you or toward you
A marriage that needs a couples counselor more than a coach
Coaching works on habits, leadership, decisions, and relationships going forward. It is not therapy, counseling, or crisis care, and I will tell you if you need one of those.
How it starts
Three steps, no pressure.
01
Tell me where you are
A short form, about three minutes. A sentence or two on what you want to be different is plenty.
02
A free twenty minute call
I reply within two business days with a few times. We talk about what is costing you the most and whether coaching fits.
03
Start, or do not
If it fits, I send the agreement and a secure payment link and we book your first call. If it does not, I will say so and point you to something that does.
The terms
Plain terms, before you pay anything.
The same terms are in the coaching agreement you sign before we start.
The free call
Twenty minutes, no cost, no obligation. If coaching is not the right fit, I will say so and point you to something that is.
Paying
The 90 Day Intensive is $2,500 paid in full before the intake call, or 3 monthly payments of $900 ($2,700 total) with the first one before the intake. Ongoing Coaching is billed monthly at $500, or $5,400 for a year paid up front. If a payment is more than seven days late, calls pause until it is caught up.
First call guarantee
If after the intake call you decide this is not for you, tell me within 48 hours and I will refund everything you paid. No questions, no hard feelings.
Moving a call
Give me at least 24 hours’ notice and we will find another time, usually the same week. A call missed or moved with less than 24 hours’ notice counts as used. If you are late, the call still ends on time. If I ever need to move a call, you get the same notice and the call is made up.
How long you have
The twelve Intensive calls are used within sixteen weeks of the intake. That leaves room for a vacation, a sick kid, or a hard week at work without losing anything.
Stopping early
Either of us can end coaching with written notice by email. After the first call guarantee, payments already made are not refunded, and any installments not yet due are canceled. Ongoing Coaching starts with a 6 month first agreement, then continues month to month and stops with thirty days’ notice. A year paid up front is refundable only within the first thirty days. If I end coaching early for any reason, you get a prorated refund for every week or month you paid for and did not receive.
Between calls
Send a text, email, or voice memo on weekdays and I reply within one business day. Weekends and holidays are for both of our families.
Confidentiality
What you tell me stays between us, and calls are not recorded unless you ask. I never use your name or story without your written permission. The exceptions are the ones the law sets: a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, the abuse of a child or a vulnerable adult, or a court order.
What coaching is
Coaching is about habits, leadership, and relationships going forward. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, legal or financial advice, or crisis support. You make your own decisions and own the results. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.
Start with twenty minutes.
Tell me what you are carrying. If coaching is the right tool, I will tell you how the twelve weeks would go. If it is not, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
